Yeah, most "tagged" videos are as you described. I did mine closer to Vale's video because I didn't have the patience to do pictures and music and text for so many questions! If I'd done a more traditional "five things" video, I might have done it differently. I remember that when flu season hit my college, a lot of people in my Portuguese class complained they couldn't do nasals properly because they were sick! (I can't do nasals particularly well in any case...)

I like most Disney movies, to be honest. When I was little and my parents got to pick what movies we watched (because my sisters and I were too little to articulate what we wanted), they tended to pick the older ones instead of Renaissance ones, so that's my reasoning. But I'm not that picky! If it's Disney, odds are I love it! I am fairly pale and don't much like the sun, but I like garlic way too much to be a vampire!

I've never thought of it that way! If anything, I think that Romance languages are economic because you can drop pronouns: "she ate" is longer than "comeu". I do sometimes wish English had a bit more gender, at least with professions; when I worked at my mom's office, people would say things like, "When does he [meaning the doctor] have an opening?" Drove me nuts!

Not fluent in English yet?! You're certainly rather good! And my Portuguese, Spanish, and German aren't that great, so we're in the same boat! (A large boat considering how far apart we are...)

Theorectically, you could do completely unrelated topics. Some people pull off three unrelated majors! But they have no social life and it doesn't help much in the real world. So I don't recommend it! My current plan is to teach at the college/university level - ideally somewhere like Dickinson (meaning a small liberal arts college), but I can't be too picky. I don't think I'd like private tutoring (I think that's what you wanted to say) as much, but I could see myself teaching at other schools.

Aww, that's actually helpful! I do need to organize myself better and force myself to go and do what I have to do already, you know; this complete lack of responsibility and discipline is getting really annoying and I'd be keen on remedying it. Scheduling my tasks might help! :)

That makes sense :) Well, I think English's biggest advantage is how economic it is. Sometimes, using the plural forms seems awfully redundant. In "the pretty girls", the word "girls" is enough to tell you it's plural and feminine; is it really necessary to make each of these words plural and feminine, as in the Portuguese translation "as meninas bonitas"? I'm used to it now, but sometimes those rules look so clumsy and impractical...

Oh, that's cool :) You prefer the older Disney movies, then? I'm not sure why, but I seem to prefer the "Disney Renaissance" ones (especially The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas and Mulan), although I really like the older ones as well... Peter Pan is one of my favorites -- not quite surprising, is it? I don't want to grow up either! ;D Hey, don't tell me you're a vampire in disguise! :D

I haven't watched that many "tagged" videos, but it seems most people will go with pictures and music. I don't know how I'd have done it myself, but I found your idea really nice! I suppose :) It's just that some languages sound exhausting to speak - Dutch, for example, with those "G" and "R" sounds... But I'm sure it's just a matter of exercising one's throat! :D
